I know all I’ll being blogging lately is my music, but I really do have anything else to blog. I’m been stuck in training at work for 4 weeks now, so nothing cool has really happened. Anja works on Saturdays so I’m forced to entertain myself. I’ve found the best way to entertain myself is with my music. So I write it, record it, and then make you, the innocent blog reader, listen to it. It’s a vicious cycle.
This weekend I have yet another song for your listening pleasure. I’ve also took some photos so you can get a look inside my living room/great room makeshift crappy studio. I guess because of my lack of a real studio I’m never TRULY happy with my recording quality. Plus, I’m not recording engineer. I’m just some dumb ass with a computer and a microphone.
So here is how I record.

Writing upbeat and/or happy songs are hard. My dad has been bitching at me for years to write something “feel good”.

Agree with wife…don’t agree with mom-in-law. I think you need a power ballad.
