I had a phone interview with Netflix today. I applied for a Tech Support position. The starting pay was about $0.75/hour more then I make now, but their benefits Don’t come close to what I have now. Hell, they only match 3% for their 401k. My company matches 6%. They also didn’t have a career path set in place. It sounded like a dead end job to me. NO THANKS! I told them that Netflix didn’t sound like a good fit for me.
I’m still holding out for something with Yahoo!. I have a friend in Cali that works for Yahoo! and said he would give me an employee referral. I’m just wanting for something to open up on their site.
The job hunt continues.
