Interviewing for a new job.

My job offers temporary positions called “Cross Training”.  Its a good way to take on more responsibility with the same amount of pay. Sound good, no? Because I love to do more crap and not get paid for it I applied for one of these cross trainings. The official title is “Cross Training eLearning Developer Specialist”. This is a multi media developer position for the training department. I’d be working in the training department which is part of HR. Weird… Me… In the HR department. The cross training is for 3-6 months. They may offer me a full time position after my cross training, or I might get shipped back to my current position.

I had my interview today. I guess they are only interviewing 1 other person. I feel pretty good about the interview. I was a little nervous before the interview, but the butterflies flew out the window once I sat down. I was interviewed by a 3 person panel. I had them all smiling, laughing, and nodding their heads. All good signs. I’ll be sending off a thank you card shortly. Now I just sit, wait, and try not to chew my nails down to bloody stumps.
