I read how Wii Fit has a weight limit of 330lbs and wont allow you to play the game if you exceed it. I did more research and found that the board can structurally hold about 600lbs, but the scale functionality only goes up to 330lbs because that’s what most household scales go up to. This was upseting. Why couldn’t they just make the game list me as “Maximum Wight” and let me play? Months went by and I stayed Wii Fitless until I found this handy dandy how to on youtube on how to trick the game’s weight limit and let you play.

Awesome! I can now buy a Wii Fit. I search the local game stores and find one. We go buy it, and on the way home we buy some 2″ foam. I figure he doubled up a sheet of 1″ foam, so 2″ would be easier. I cut the foam and take it for a test run. I get an error. It says I’m fidgeting and I should stand still. CRAP! Ok, maybe I need 1″ foam. That’s what I get for not following the instructions.

The next day I bought a sheet of 1″ foam, cut it up and give it a test… Same damn thing. WTF?! Patrica said her sister said to try a towel. So I did. I folded up a towel so it was about 5 inches wide, set it on the floor, set the Wii Board on it and tested it of. SUCSESS! SWEET!

Thanks Barb… Enjoy that. I’m never saying that ever again! :D

We played for a couple of hours last night and now my hips are sore. Maybe this really will help with our diets. It’s just fun to play, but if we can have a side effect like losing wieght than so be it!

I found some at a near by GameStop, so we took a trip over there. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was a stack of Guitar Hero World Tour Band Kits. 26 of them to be exact. After about 6 circles around the stack I figured I should take a photo so it will last longer. We got the Wii and went back to work.

I’ve been wanting this game for a while now. While at Toys R Us Patricia played with the drum kit. She had a lot of fun with it and said how she would like it too… Well… My mom gave use a $100 credit gift card, that would pay for more then half of it, we didn’t know what to send the card on, so I suggested we get the game.

Wednesday after noon we were proud owners of GH World Tour Band Kit. We rocked out that night and last night. Patricia likes the vocals, and drums. I don’t care much for the vocals, but I love the guitar and drums. The new guitar controller is a LOT better then the old one. It doesn’t register 2 notes if you flick the strum bar too hard like the old one, which is why I didn’t play the old one much.

The audio sounds a little weird. I think they made the “instrument” you are playing louder then normal, so you can hear it better, but as a musician and music lover it just sounds a little off. Patricia has even made note of it too.

All in all it’s a must buy. I can’t wait to unlock the Tool songs!

I had a pre-ordered copy waiting for me at Bestbuy (Happy early Birthday to me. From me!), but from the looks of it I didn’t need to pre-order it. They had a stack of them piled high on a table, and another stack of Wii Wheels. I got myself an extra Wii wheel too.
It’s kinda tricky at first, but you get the hang of it quickly. I feel myself getting more into it because I’m spinning a wheel rather then smashing buttons. Basicly what this blog boils down too… I can wait to go home and play! 

If you need me over the next few days you can find my at the corner of Couch St and Wii way! 
(If you lived in Portland, OR that last line might have been funny to you. Portlanders don’t know how to pronounce “couch”. They call it Cootch. Cootch like a vagina. I giggle on the inside when people at work tell me they live on Cootch St.)

For those of you that don’t have a Wii you get to use the Mii when you play games and stuff. I’ve been playing a round and made a few famous people and a few of my friends. I got a Wii!!! I’ve been searching hard for a Wii. I even ventured out on Black Friday and stood in line for 2 hours in 26 degree weather. The store I went to didn’t even get any that day.

Today I did my daily calls to local stores to find a Wii and GameStop had 6. I called Anja and she went there right after work. She was able to pick one up. I’m glad they let her use my credit card.

If you need me for the next few days… I’ll be with my Wii.
